Hi! I’m Karen. I live in beautiful western Colorado with my two cats, Spazzie and Spooky. They’re sisters and don’t always get along.

I was born and raised in Colorado. I love my beautiful native state and want to share it with you! I’m a historical fiction author and blogger.

I also attend online genealogy school and am working toward my PLCGS credentials in American Records and Methodology.

Since I love to travel and do research for my books and genealogy, I decided to start a lifestyle and travel blog to share my travels with others.

I also bought a piece of land in western Colorado and plan to build on it in the future.

In the meantime, I live in a rental home but hope to get an RV trailer or fifth wheel sometime within the next few years for travel and to live on my land while I build a home and start my homestead.

These are some of the things I’ll be featuring on this blog. There will be cat tales about my cats’ latest adventures and who knows what else!

As I strive to live the life of my dreams, I hope to inspire others to do the same!
